“Shaping Farm and Food Policy Strategies for 2040” was the theme of the Agri-Pulse Ag & Food Policy Summit on March 18 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. UEP President and CEO Chad Gregory was on a panel that provided insight on “What’s the future for conventional proteins?” Gregory discussed expected changes in protein production, labeling, and sustainability over the next 20 years along with representatives from milk, pork and beef associations.
Research on the future of farming was also presented and is available in “Who will be the farmer of the future?” and “The Disruptors: Six trends that will shape the future structure of U.S. agriculture.”
