September 23-26, Crowne Plaza Downtown, Indianapolis, IN
The Shell Egg Academy (SEA) will deliver information on timely topics to individuals dealing with or producing table eggs from the perspective of egg quality and food safety. The SEA is divided into; Course 1 (Days 1-2), Live hen production and; Course 2 (Days 2-4), Egg Processing and Food Safety.
The SEA program is different from the National Egg Quality School (NEQS) and Poultry Health and Management School (PHMS). While some lectures may be similar, the content in the courses are viewed from a food safety and egg quality perspective. The topics will evolve over time to be responsive to new issues in the industry. NEQS is the preferred course on being trained on egg quality and grading and PHMS is more in depth on diseases and management. Registration is limited (50 total in each Course) and you can select either Course or select both Courses when registering.
The hotel block will expire on September 9th and rooms are still available at the Omni (next door to the Crowne Plaza). Click here to register and for additional information, the agenda, and sponsorship opportunities.
