February 20, 2020

Check out this video to see Dr. Darrin Karcher, assistant professor of animal sciences at Purdue University, explain why the Shell Egg Academy (SEA) is an important learning opportunity.

The Shell Egg Academy runs April 20-23 in Lafayette, Indiana. It is open to anyone in the egg industry who wants training and timely information on egg quality and food safety topics that deal specifically with the production and processing of table eggs.

The SEA offers two courses:

Course 1: Live Hen Production (Monday, April 20 - Tuesday, April 21; fee $500)
Course 2: Egg Processing and Food Safety (Tuesday, April 21 - Thursday, April 23; fee $750)

Participants may select either course or attend both. At the end of each course, participants take an exam to earn a competency certificate. View the general schedule here.

Sponsorships are available at a variety of price levels for companies wishing to show their support of the egg industry. For complete program information and to register or sign up as a sponsor, click here.
