Future Leaders

United Egg Producers supports the next generation of egg farmers to become better leaders.

A New Generation of Leaders

UEP’s Future Leaders program provides unique training and mentoring opportunities to release the full potential of the next generation of egg community leaders – those who will ultimately be responsible for carrying egg production forward. Future leaders gather annually for three days of industry insight, team building and strategic thinking. The conference agenda is carefully constructed to provide genuine and relevant value for participants. Workshops offer coaching on topics such as leadership skill development, problem analysis, and effective communication to key stakeholders.

“It’s really productive. We get together as teams and put our views from different companies together. It helps us focus our passion for the industry toward a common goal.”

Building for the Future

UEP believes that sharing the collective knowledge of farmer-members across the country improves the ability of farmers to deliver a safe, wholesome, affordable supply of eggs. Past Future Leaders sessions have featured speakers from leading food companies and globally-recognized environmental organizations.

“The people here have a keen understanding of the challenges ahead…This program helps us realize the importance of pulling together as one industry.”

Fellowship and Fun

Gathering annually in places like Washington, D.C., and Lake Tahoe, Nevada, UEP Future Leader sessions are filled with insights, learning and skills-building. There’s also time for fellowship, friendship and fun. Rock wall climbing, a high ropes course, paintball competitions, and other exercises teach the importance of teamwork. UEP is grateful to the many sponsors for continued support of this life-changing experience for Future Leaders of the egg community.

“Everybody here is just awesome. Even though we’re from different farms and different parts of the country, we really bonded.”
