“F.D.A. gives guidance on preventing food supply attacks,” provides details on FDA’s first draft guidance to help the food industry comply with Intentional Adulteration (I.A) Rule under the Food Safety Modernization Act. Two other installments will be issued later this year on this topic.
“Sniffing Out Disease: Dogs Trained for Wildlife Disease Surveillance,” is a USDA blog describing the training of dogs to identify odors from materials from Avian Influenza-infected birds at the National Wildlife Research Center in Fort Collins, Colorado.
