“UEP president addresses industry shift to cage-free,” reports Chad Gregory’s comments on the transition to cage-free production during the Des Moines Area Briefing published in WattAg.
UEP Member, Midwest Poultry is featured in “Farmers Open the Barn Door to Local Leaders,” which covered the “Bacon and Egg Tour,” in which 30 local leaders toured two livestock farms, published in Hoosier Ag Today.
“Iowa State University (ISU) breaks ground to modernize poultry teaching and research,” provides details on the Hamilton Poultry Teaching and Research Farm, scheduled for completion in late 2019. ISU is also home to the office of UEP VP of Animal Welfare, Dr. Larry Sadler and the Egg Industry Center.
