Dr. Larry Sadler
, VP of Animal Welfare, spoke with students attending the animal science careers course at the University of Wisconsin-Madison about his own career path and opportunities in production animal welfare and poultry. Agriculture-focused college students tend to be familiar with beef and pork careers, but many are unaware of the opportunities that exist in poultry, especially in the Midwest.  Dr. Sadler believes outreach efforts to students early in their studies is important as they decide on a future career path.
